Samantha was born and raised in Indiana where she grew up with dogs and horses. During her college years at Indiana University she worked at a pet grooming salon, where her passion for dogs grew. She moved to North Carolina in 2006 and has worked in the Health and Wellness Industry since. However, her desire to work with dogs was reignited after struggling to find a boarding option that suited the special needs of her Doberman. Her struggle inspired the idea to provide a boarding environment that provided a fun and low stress experience for pets; an environment where pets spent more time running outdoors, and not confined to a cage. This dream was the beginning of Dog Tales Day Camp & Boarding.

David is a native of Northboro, Massachusetts where he grew up with horses and chickens. He currently works full-time as an Occupational Therapist, but is also involved as a real estate investor, entrepreneur, and amateur carpenter. David's hobbies include adventure racing and travel, so he is our doggie field trip specialist! Because he is frequently taking our dogs on special adventures, spotting him at Dog Tales may be a rare, but thrilling, finding (kind of like a Yetti).
